We’re Salvo and Andrea, two Italian friends who go way back. For years we worked office jobs, while what we both really loved was making things with our hands: restoring, building, bringing old rooms back to life. So we stopped dreaming and started Quality Refurbishment in Haarlem. Now we do the work together, from the first measurement to the last coat of paint, and we kept one good habit from our office years: think it through before you start.

Of course. If you have a floor plan or have measured the rooms yourself, attach it to the form and we’ll start from there. Before work starts we always check the key dimensions on site, so the quote stays reliable.
3D views of your rooms, the bill of quantities with a price for every item, the planned materials and a schedule. Clear enough to compare and decide calmly.
Often, yes, if it isn’t load-bearing. We check that first, along with what runs through it (pipes, ducts). For now we only take on walls that aren’t load-bearing. If it can be done, we show it to you in the model, with costs and timing.
With us, plastering walls ready for paint costs €19.95 per m² and painting walls in two coats €17.95 per m², including VAT and standard materials. The total depends on the surfaces and the finish, so we measure before we estimate: the quote lists every item with its quantity and unit price, with no vague lump sums.
Usually within a few days of the survey: the time it takes to build the model and check the quantities. For larger projects we agree a date during the survey.
In Haarlem and Amsterdam, and everywhere around them: Heemstede, Bloemendaal, Zandvoort, Hoofddorp and the rest of Haarlemmermeer, Amstelveen, Diemen, Zaandam, IJmuiden and Velsen, Beverwijk and Heemskerk. For larger projects we also travel elsewhere in the Netherlands.
