What do plastering, painting or a renovation cost?
These are our prices for work in Haarlem, Amsterdam and the surrounding area. Every price includes VAT and standard materials, with the amount excl. VAT underneath, because many companies only show that one. The exact price follows the survey, with every item and every square metre in the quote.

How your price is made
We measure every room and calculate the quantities from a 3D model: the square metres of wall net of doors and windows, the ceiling, the new walls. Then we apply the unit price. You can try it yourself in our 3D sample room.

Plastering and painting in homes older than two years are taxed at the reduced rate of 9%, including the materials we use. Building work such as stud walls and doors is at 21%. The quote lists every item with its own rate.
Questions
What does a plasterer charge per hour?
We only use an hourly rate for extra work: €45 an hour incl. VAT. Everything else is priced per square metre or per job, so you can see up front what the total is made of.
What does a painter charge per hour?
€42 an hour incl. VAT, for extra work only. For painting, too, we work with a price per m² or per piece, set out in the quote.
Why do prices per m² vary so much?
Because of the condition of the surface, the finish, the height, access and the size of the job. A small job costs more per m² than a whole house. That’s why we measure first.
