Taking out a wall is one of the biggest changes you can make to a home, and it needs care. We find out what a wall carries and what’s inside it before anything is demolished, and show you the new layout in 3D. For now we only remove walls that aren’t load-bearing.

How much does it cost to remove a wall?
Removing a non-load-bearing wall, including disposal and making good, costs about €850 with us, incl. VAT. The exact price depends on the size of the wall and what runs through it, and follows the survey.
How do you tell whether a wall is load-bearing?
From the building drawings if they exist, and on site: the direction of the floor joists, what sits above the wall and how it’s built. When in doubt, we treat it as load-bearing. For now we only remove walls that aren’t, so if yours carries weight, we’ll tell you before anything is demolished.
Do I need a permit to remove a wall?
For a wall that isn’t load-bearing, usually not. In an apartment, check your VvE’s (owners’ association) rules too, and in a listed building even interior work can need a permit. We look at your situation and tell you what applies.
