How much does plastering cost per m²?
With us, €19.95 per m² for paint-ready walls, €15.75 for wallpaper-ready walls and €21.95 per m² for ceilings, including VAT and standard materials. Our quote shows the area we measured in your home, with a price for each item.
What’s the difference between paint-ready and wallpaper-ready plaster?
Wallpaper-ready plaster is smooth enough to hang paper on, which hides small imperfections. Paint-ready plaster is finished more precisely, because paint shows every flaw. That’s why it costs a little more.
How long does plaster take to dry?
As a rule of thumb, plaster dries about a millimetre a day. A thin finishing coat is often dry within a week; a thick layer can need two to four weeks, depending on the season and ventilation. Only then can it be painted, and we plan that into the same schedule.
How do you repair cracks in a wall?
First we find out where the crack comes from: shrinkage, movement of the building or damp. The crack is opened up, reinforced with mesh and plastered again. For larger or recurring cracks we have the cause fixed first, so they don’t come back.
